The Disney-owned network gave a PG rating to “The Real O’Neals.”  Melissa Henson with theParents Television Council says that program is a classic example of what’s wrong with the TV Content Ratings System – a ratings system her group says is rigged to benefit the television networks.

By way of comparison, Henson points out that Disney movies such as Cinderella and The Good Dinosaur also were rated PG. That, she says, might lead parents to believe that the movie and TV ratings are comparable – but that’s not the case.

“If you tune in to watch ‘The Real O’Neals,’ what you’re going to be exposed to is deliberately scripted and then bleeped out f-words and s-words,” she explains.
