VIDEO: [CBC News] Former Tory cabinet ministers claim no knowledge of transfer of 20 child killers from prisons to healing lodges.
McClintic has been returned to a real prison from the healing lodge she’d been hiding out in since last December. Justin Trudeau’s Liberal government finally made the move happen by changing regulations surrounding which prisoners are allowed to be in such unsecure facilities.
It took him long enough.
I won’t give Trudeau any credit for doing the right thing here because this is what the opposition Conservatives and millions of everyday Canadians had been asking for since the story broke in late September.
Given the chance to do the right thing, Trudeau played politics with the issue and is still playing politics with the death of a little girl.
The PM could have spent the weeks between when the issue was first raised and when the rules were changed assuring Canadians that he was horrified as they were and the issue was under review.
McClintic ignored Tori’s cries for help, instead, she helped Rafferty defile an innocent little girl before the pair of them brutally murdered her.

Trudeau didn’t act horrified that McClintic was getting special treatment. In fact, he attacked anyone that questioned her placement in a healing lodge as not believing in the rule of law, not supporting an independent judiciary and capped it off by calling his critics “ambulance chasers”.
McClintic is guilty of the most abhorrent crimes imaginable, crimes Trudeau’s government initially referred to simply as “bad practices.”
The woman lured a little eight-year-old girl off the path home from school and took little Tori to meet her boyfriend Michael Rafferty who repeatedly raped Tori.
